2. Structure, Governance and Management

Burundi Education is governed by its governing document. The trustees are responsible for the management and administration of the charity and for ensuring that its activities further its charitable purposes.

The trustees meet as required and make decisions collectively. All trustees are aware of and act in accordance with their legal duties and responsibilities under charity law.

3. Objectives

The charity’s objects are:

  1. To advance education of children and young people from poor communities by providing education opportunities, improving the capacity of their teachers, and providing educational tools and such other support as the trustees may determine.
