2. Structure, Governance and Management
Burundi Education is governed by its governing document. The trustees are responsible for the management and administration of the charity and for ensuring that its activities further its charitable purposes.
The trustees meet as required and make decisions collectively. All trustees are aware of and act in accordance with their legal duties and responsibilities under charity law.
3. Objectives
The charity’s objects are:

To advance education of children and young people from poor communities by providing education opportunities, improving the capacity of their teachers, and providing educational tools and such other support as the trustees may determine.

The trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. The charity’s activities focus on education and skills development, which contribute to improved opportunities and long-term poverty reduction for beneficiaries in Burundi.
5. Achievements and Performance
During the year, the charity operated on a small scale due to limited income. Funds were used to support education-related activities in line with the charity’s objects.
The trustees consider that, despite modest resources, the charity’s work continues to make a positive contribution toward improving educational outcomes and long-term self-su�iciency.
6. Financial Review
For the year ended 31 March 2025:

7. Reserves Policy
Due to the small size of the charity and its limited income, the trustees do not maintain a formal reserves policy. Reserves are reviewed regularly to ensure the charity can meet short-term obligations.

The trustees plan to:
