maintaining the Charity's property {in¢luding that held on trust by the Charity} and the costs, charges and expenses
of administering the Chariiy.

The Charity's prinLipal activity is (prant making for the general benefit of th¢ publiL. relief-in-need paytnents t
individuals largelv retened to the Lharity by welfare agencies. and educational grants pl￿OTni￿antIY to
prospective undergraduates.
Grants are also awarded. in consultation with the PaTochial Church Council, ab and when required towards the
maintenance and r¢pair of the fabric of the Parish ChiirLh of the ecclesiastical parish of St. Pet¢[ and St. Paul.

Outside of direct grant provision, the Charity has fourteen fully serviced flais. two local alloimeni sites and,
protects and enhances thc ccological value of a Site of Special Scientific InteTeSt oi) land that is held within it$
inve51mertt PToperty portfolio.
Finally, the Chariry has since 2005 owned a 17 Century buElding kno￿ as the Old Grammar School - Grade I
listed buildins in Market Ilarborougb of historical, cultural and drchite¢tural importance. The Undercroft is
akailable for rent, while the upstairs function room continues to be used a5 a temporary offic¢ for tlie Charity.

to & resthctive covenant in favour of two predecessors in titlc whereby, in the eN'ent of any subsequent non-agricultural
development being pemiitted, the charity wryll be required to pay 330/0 of ally defined iTICT¢a5¢ in value. The ¢ovenaDt
extend5 to forty years from the daic of grant:
Land situated a short distance to the north of CJre2t Bowden village comprising 13.03 acres of grassland. which is lei on

At various time5 during the year the Chariry has received applications for grants from other charitable orgall15ations which
have certain trustees in conunon wIth the Charity. In accoTdance with the Chanty's procedllres. the relevant tnJ$tees
de¢lared their intirest and did not take part in any of the discussions relating to the gtant application.

virtue of having two trustees in commoll in the year and the preieding y¢ai. During 2024 the Ch2rity employed a part-time

r¢itnbur5td the Charily foT the direct employment related cosis of the employec. ￿'hICh amoimted 10 £5,673 in 2025 and
£2,737 in 2024. The eTnploytnent carne to an end during in the 5e¢ond half of 2025 and no unpaid amounts were
outstanding at either year end.
