FELINE NETWORK Cat Rescue

TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT 2024 – 2025

CATS IN CARE

As of May 31[st] we had a total of 13 cats in foster, of which 7 are permanent foster cats.

CATS REHOMING

As of 31[st] May, a total of 64 cats have found new homes, ranging from kittens to a 19 year old cat. We had 5 cats humanely PTS.

THE SHOP

We currently have 13 volunteers and 1 supervisor.

We now have a regular presence on social media, enabling us to reach more customers, sell online and gain more supporters. We have a team of 3 undertaking this.

We have a busy and successful platform on Vinted and Ebay, amassing several sales per week.

The shop had to close temporarily in April due to a major flood. Insurance covered some of the damage and the landlord has now renewed the roof.

Our Monday craft group is still going strong with 5 regular participants.

OTHER FUNDRAISING

We had a successful winter fayre and raffle, amassing over £500.

We regularly sell online, Ebay and vinted.

We hold auctions every three months, bringing in approx. £500 per auction.

We have applied for three grants but thus far have been unsuccessful.

FELINE NETWORK Cat Rescue

FOSTERERS

We currently have 7 regular foster families.

We have a new foster co-ordinator and are currently updating our paperwork, and providing fosterers with foster boxes containing all the essentials.

OUTREACH

We have a team who continue to attend stray, lost, deceased and injured cats, dealing appropriately with each case. We have purchased a new humane trap and have trained 2 fosterers in a microchipping course.

CHARITY GROWTH

We have been working with a business coach to further grow the charity. Applying for grants, help with accounting, networking, social media training, amongst others.

We have a dedicated website associate who keeps everything looking nice and doing regular updates.

We are, as ever, trying to find new ways to look for volunteers, and have a couple of stalls at local events to fulfil this.

For, and on behalf of the trustees.
