In April 2019 we opened a Heritage and Visitor Centre, 100% volunteer run,
with the assistance of the Town and County Councils. This building, now
named Y Gannwyll will be used for the Museum facilities and enhance the
provision of permanent, travelling and temporary exhibitions, talks and other

We continue to open to the public from Easter to early November each year.
We continue to retain an online presence and look to receive grants to
maintain the building and collection and to when possible extend the
exhibition by way of loans and donations ready for reopening Easter 2025.
We are available to providing private tours and lectures out of hours and
during winter closure period if appropriate. This would include media
promotion of our collection, Llandovery and outlying communities when
requested. We continue to enhance the collection and management of same
at this time as well as working towards becoming a museum with national
accreditation.
We confirm the trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission's
