In planning all activrties the Charity Commission's guidance on
public benefit was kept in mind at trustee meetings. Christian
worship meetings which indude activities for children. the
running of the local foodbank and a drop in centre with free
clothes, open to the general public and free of charge.

Garw Valley Links leased a shop called 'His Place, in
Pontycymmer, Bridgend until 23rd October 2025.
Pontycymmer Foodbank that was run in 'His Place, has now
moved into Pontycymmer OAP Centre. The opening hours on
Wednesday remain the same. 213 food vouchers were
fulfilled in 2025. providing food for 514 people {366 adults and
148 children). Free drinks were also available to any who
came in from the communily. Once a month Citizens Advice
Bureau come to the Foodbank providing practical advice to
those seeking help.
Sunday church meetings are held in Tabernade Chapel,
Pontycymmer and in Blaengarw Community Centre. Some
fellowship meetings are held on Zoorn for those able to a￿sS
the networt.
Several successful Fun Day events have been held in
Tabemacle and a local park for families and children. A
monthly ladies meeting has been re-established.
Continued support has been given to works that the charity
has been linked wrth intemationally for several years..
