Christian worship meetings which include activilies for children, the running of the local foodbank and a drop in centre with free clothu, open to the general Publ￿ and free of charge. All activibes are undertaken by volunteers. Garw Valley Links continue8 to lea8e a Shop called 'Hi8 Place. in Pontycymmer, Br*end. Pontycymmer Foodbank is njn in 'His Place, and was open t￿￿ days a week until August and from September on Wednesdays only. 285 food vouchers were received in 2023, provKling 3 day8 of food for 604 people (432 adults and 172 chiklffjn). 'His Place. is used during Foodbank sessions as a dropinacentre wth access to free clothes and refreshments. Sunday church meoting8 wore held In Pontycymmer and Blaeng8rw.
