Attendanco Levels The post pandemic period provlded a number of challenges for the club, as outlined in the previous reporting period. The Tnjslees are pleased to report that there has been a steady Sncrease in new or returning members durlng the year, although income from tralning is slill significantly down on pre-pandemic levels. Section D Achievements and performance the club. The boxing club has a fanlaslic legacy In the local area Ihal has been built over a number of decades. This reputation wlll continue lo be leveraged in order lo drive increased attendance levels over the next 12 months to more. 2. Charitable Donations A targeted promotion of the club with supporters in the local business community helped to actively g6nerate enhanced levels of funding from donations. The donation income stream aided the club's ability lo meet ils charitable objectives by enabling it lo Comfortably meet increasing operational overheads. As a result of this increased community èngagemenuoulreach six donations were received from business supporters. This has had a significant impact in sustsining ongoing activities at the club. The Trusl6es will continue to explore IhSs income stream in future to help subsidise training fees in the short term. 3. Box Cleva The Box Cleva initiative, that supports children with behavloural problems between the ages of 7 to 15, has sllll not restarted with the club slnce the Pandemlc. It Is hoped that the program, and 5UPPOrt that this provides in term of discSpllne and self-worth to its particlpants, will restart in th8 next reporting period. 4. Com etition The recommencement of club competitions at a local, regional and national level have provided a plafform for 8 number of the junior boxers representing the club lo achieve Suc￿$5. The Trustees are confident that success bre8ds success in developing juniors so will continue lo travel throughout the counlry to help juniors compete. Demonslrallon of thls success is also extremely positive lor the wider club profile. Section E Financial review The club holds cash al bank of £10,188 al the end of Ihe year. all of which are unreslricled fijnds. These funds are held to meet any unforeseen expenditure and are available al immediate notice if required. As already ouuined the club's principle income driver during the period resulted from Donations, which far exceeded traditional income stream generated from training fees. Therefore. total income in the period is not direcuy comparable lo Income reported in the previou5 year. An additional water utility refund is also recorded under income. This income related lo a water expense overcharge recorded in the prior period that inflated the 'Water' charge recorded in 2022. The overcharge was caused by an undetected water leak that the club were charged for. This faull at the club has now been repaired. Expenditure for the year is primarily related lo the upkeep and maintenance of the building. which ensures the club building comfortable and safe envlronment for members to visit and train in. Total expenditure for the year is broadly comparable to the prior year, if you extract the water OVe￿harge that was recorded during 2022. Other expenditure that helped support the key objectives of the club included updates to the training equipment made available to all members.
