These controls include the following elements.
1. All Trustees are subject to Criminal Records checks prior to the
ommencemenl of their p05115ons.
2. The club has an approved child protection policy in place. The club's
appointed child prolecllon officer has extensiv8 éxperlence in this field
holding several associated senior social services positions within this
field.
3. The safe-guarding policy and framework Is malntsined and reviewed
annually by thé Truslè85.
4. Any coach engaged by the club is required lo b8 fully qualified with the
Amateur Boxing Assoclalion of England (ABA), subjecl to enhanced
CRB checks.
5. A number of the boxlng coaches also hold first aid certificates.
All Trustees operate on a voluntary basis and receive no remun8ralion or
other benefits for Ihelr role.

The club's activities throughout the year remaln focused on local
community partlcipation in healthy recreallon provld8d through tho
opportunits'es within the sport of Amateur Boxlng.
The Trustees have ensured thal there are equal Iralnlng opportunSlles
available lo anyone from the local communlly who wlsh lo loln Ilir* club,
Participation is available lo all, regardless of background, fallh, gendor, or
onal circumstances.
Any particlpation is always on the premlse Ihal there is no danger posed
to the health or wellbelng of any Indlvldual through the club's sporllng

Achievements and performance

rebuild over time.
The successful reopenlng of the club was a milestone in the reporting
period for all Involved and enabling re-engagement with members. The
coaches and Trustees have made a concerted effort to illustrate the
benefits that the club, and aclivilies, can offer lo the community to help
gain Iractlon in rebuilding the membership base.
2. Inltlatlves
Although the club conlinues to support the Box Cleva initiative, this
program dSd not operate during this p051-pandemic period.
Thls is a program that thè club has actively supported since ils inception
as a charlty. The program provldes discipline and self-worth lo the
largeled partlcipanls, who are children between the ages of 7 to 15.
The focus Is on non-conlact beglnners boxing classes based on
traditional values of boxing. dlscipline, hard work. respect and
appreciation for your fellow sportsperson. Many of the allendees come to
the programme referred by social seNices, the police or from schools and
have behavioural problems.
This coachlng provides them an outlet lo channel their focus and develop
themselves as individuals. The club will collaborate with Box Cleva as
soon as the program restarts.

The club holds cash al bank of £6,287 al the end of the year. all of
which are unreslrided funds. These ftsnds are held lo meet any
unforèsaèn expendlture and are available at immediate notice if
requlred.
