Section D                      Achievements and performance _As already alluded to above, it has been a strange and_ **Summary of the main** _challenging year for us, our members and our wider network,_ **achievements of the** _due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus._ **charity during the year** _At the turn of the year, we were full of optimism due to attracting a significant amount of funding from Sport England to deliver a range of activities across our network. Sadly, any activities have had to be postponed until we are able to deliver those activities safely. Sport England have been very supportive and have given permission for those funds to be carried forward and used at an appropriate time._ 

_To that end, most of our work has focussed on supporting our members and building our networks and influence with other organisations and government._ 

_In addition, towards the end of the year we were successful in applying to the government to deliver placements as part of the Kickstart scheme – we look forward to seeing that progress in 2021._ 

_We continue to be an active member of the World Federation of Youth Clubs._ 

## **Section E                    Financial review** 

_The Charity would like to be in a a position whereby it has 12_ **Brief statement of the** _months of free reserves in place. At this stage of the_ **charity’s policy on** _associations existence this is an aspirational policy._ **reserves** 

_The funds from Sport England have been allocated and will be distributed in the coming year to achieve the purpose for which they were given._
