Financial review
. Golng concern
After making appropriate enquiries, the Trustees have a reasonable expectation that the Charity has adequate
resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. For this reason, they continue to
adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements. Further details regarding the adoption of
the going concern basis can be found in the accounting policies.
b. Flnan¢lal posltlon
The Charity received donations of £100,000 (2023- £100,000) during the year. Gift aid of £25,807
(2023 - £25,365) has been reclaimed froln HMRC.
The Charity incurred expenditure of £126,862 (2023- £71,090)which has resulted in a net deficit of £1,055
(2023 Surplus - £54,275).
The Trustees apply the income received by giving grants to charitable bodies. The grants paid in the year have
been disclosed within the review of'Achievements' above.
c. Reserves pollcy
The Charity only holds unrestricted funds which are available for use at the discretion of the Trustees in
furtherance of the general objectives of the Charily and which have not been designated for other purposes.

The Trustees have an informal reserve policy of maintaining at least years of expected grants and
