## Purpose of the Trust 

The restoration, preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement, beautification and reconstruction of the church of St Andrew’s Church (the “Church”) in the diocese of Oxford and the County of Oxfordshire and of monuments, fittings, fixtures, stained glass, furniture, ornaments and chattels in the Church and of the churchyard belonging to the Church. 

## Report of Activities 

The Charity was entered on the Register of Charities on 20[th] June 2014.  Fund raising commenced from 1[st] July 2014 and has continued since that time. Standing orders and donations are sought from the parishioners of East and West Hagbourne. From time-to-time other fund-raising events are organised. Emphasis is placed on the secular nature of the charity and that the 900-year-old church beincreasingly used as a community meeting place in addition to being a place of worship.   The charity has been registered with HMRC for the claiming of Gift Aid. 

Grants are made by the Trustees completely independently of the PCC and are considered on the basis that the Parochial Church Council (PCC) also seeks funding from other sources. 



During the year a grant of £17145.00 was made to the PCC to reimburse for essential repointing work on the Church stonework.  There are no employees or volunteers in the trust and expenses are limited to bank charges and limited printing and publicity material.
