We also were able to work in the local communily inilialives by offering free lo allend social meetings Ihat included a pop-up Community and art and craft sessions aimed specially for children in the IcKal neighbourhoods. We have conlinued lo develop stronger relationships wrth other charitable organisalions and churches wilhin Preslon with similar objectives. who we are presently working with to expand the support and leach of the charity. We were able lo host an all churches together evening of prayer for the local communily and wider Christian famity. We also held specific nighls of prayer, where we opened the church building to allow people lo come and pray. We held our first church away day al Vvhalley Abbey, Ihis was an opw)rtunily for d&per connection and exploring Ihe Christian failh in more deiail. Our annual church BBQ also I￿k place in 2023 This was a free to atlend event where new people were connected lo the church charity. 51 was a lime for building community and sharing the Christian faith with others Special guest speakers Tough Talk who are a charrty that have a prisons ministry came lo the evenl lo encourage those Ihal attended. 11 was good to see one ol our congregation members volunteer to go to cenlral Africa with a l¢xal chaiily that we support to help with the maintenance of a hospital block in a iemole location of the Congo. deep in the bush. Our young people also partner wrth the local universrty Christian union to help promote Iheir services and groups which they njn in the city centfe. Finally, we ran another su¢¢esslul communily Christmas carol Se￿iCe and meal. This was advertised on social media and was flee lo attend. The event focussed on the Christmas story and message of hope and salvation and was well attended by the local community that we serve. This helped us achieve our objective ol advancing the Christian faith. As a result of this more people have connected with us on our social media pages, where we advertise our events. Page 2

There are no paid staff within the Charity FINANCIAL REVIEW The Trustees ieview the level of reserves on a regular basis to ensure there are sufficient funds available for the charity lo meet its commitments. FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS The church continues to bok to fvrther develop our breadth of ouireach aclwilies through the valuable contribution of volunleeis in are8$ including working the community Ihrouoh Home Churches. We are also lookillg to grow our outreach programs localty and further exter)d partnerships inlernalionally.
