The Trustees meet to review the requests made for grants and use the public benefit criteria to ensure the outcomes are in line with the objectives of the CIO. The Trustees meet the organisation to verify the request and ask for a report of the outcome. Trustees are invited to attend the events the CIO have helped fund.
The Trustees of the TheSchoolBus Foundation believe that they have complied with the duty in section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission.
