| lnJune,weranafree online"LovetoSing" course,whichwas | |
| attendedbyover30women,withwhom we wereabletoshare | |
| theenjoyment ofa Capellaandbarbershopsinging and even | |
| teachsometechnique.We aredelightedthat8ofthemhave | |
| sincejoinedtheclub. | |
| Performances:Liveperformanceshave been severelyrestricted, | |
| duringthepandemic.We produced another video ofanewsong, | |
| which wehave been abletoshareonline. Wehadplanneda | |
| Christmas Concert in aidoffundsforthecommunityhall,which | |
| isour new home,butduetocontinuingCovid concerns,thishas | |
| beendeferred.Wehostedaregional eventforLABBS(our | |
| parent organisation) inNovember,which enabledmembersof | |
| manydifferentchorusestoshareadayofcoaching and singing. | |
| This gaveusthe opportunitytoperformsomesongstoan | |
| audience. | |
| Competitions:Competing againstotherchorusesis avery | |
| effectiveway of focussingon improvement. Therehave been no | |
| competitions this year, but wearepreparing for the Oxford | |
| Music Festivalin Jan2021. |
