Chartered Accountants. report to the directors on the preparation of the unaudited statutory financial
statements of Yeovil Family Church (the company) for the year ended 31 March 2023.
To assist you lo fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the
financial statements of the company for the year ended 31 March 2023 which comprise the Profil and Loss
accounts, the Balance Sheet and the related notes from the company's accounting records and from information
and explanations you have given to us.
As a practising member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales IICAEW), we are
subject to ils ethical and other professional requirements which are detailed at

This report is made solely to the directors of the company, as a body, in accordance with the terms of our
engagement letter. Our work has been undertaken solely lo prepare for your approval the financial ststemenls of
the company and stsle those matters that we have agreed to stale to the directors of the Compary, as a booy, in
this report in accordan￿ with the ICAEWTechnical Release 07116 AAF. To the fullest extent permitted by law,
we do not accept or assume responsibility lo anyone other than the company and Ils directors, as a body, for our

The Company was entitled lo exemption from audit for this reporting period under section 477 of the
Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the
Companies Act 2006.
The Directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to
accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordan￿ with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the
small companies regime. The directors have chosen to not file a copy of the company's profil and loss
account.
The members have agreed to the preparation of abridged accounts for this accounting period in accordance

Compliance with applicable reporting framework
The financial slalements have been prepared in Complian￿ with FRS 102 Section 1A as il applies to
the financial statements for the period and there were no material departures from the reporting
standard.
Accounting policies
Property, plant and equipment policy
Tangible fixed assets are staled at cost or valuation less depreciation. Depreciation is provided on all
tangible fixed assets as follows".
Revenue recognition policy
Turnover from the sale of goods is recognised when the significant risks and rewards of ownership of
the goods have transferred to the buyer. Turnover from the rendering of services is recognised by
referen￿ lo the stage of completion of the contract. The stage of completion of a ¢onlra¢l 15 measured
by comparing the costs incurred for work performed to date to the total estimated contract costs.
