Name and Objectives According to the Governing Document.
The name of the organisation is THE NOTTINGHAM CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP , which also uses the working name TNCF .
The objectives of the organisation are for the benefit of the public:

To advance the Christian faith (in accordance with the Statement of Beliefs) in such ways and in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees from time to time may think fit;

To relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind, including through the provision of counselling and support, in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees from time to time may think fit;
-
To advance education in such ways and in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees from time to time may think fit.
The Trustees have paid due attention to the Charity Commission’s general guidance on public benefit in respect of all the charity’s activities.
Significant Activities
The Nottingham Christian Fellowship continues to operate financially as an independent trust.
The Trust’s activities include:

Weekly cottage/online meetings

Monthly gatherings

Monthly youth meetings

Achievements and Performance
During the reporting period, the Trust has been able to operate in accordance with its governing document, delivering all planned activities successfully throughout the year.
Activities during the reporting period have included:

Weekly Sunday meetings

Weekly Sunday school

Weekly cottage/online meetings

Monthly gatherings
-
Monthly youth meetings

Annual family camp/summer event
-
Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children

Annual convention
As a Trust with forward-looking goals, we aim to expand these activities further and reach a wider audience, especially through the use of social media and other digital platforms in the future.
Financial Review
The charity’s finances have been responsibly managed throughout the financial year. All income received has been applied solely towards achieving the charity’s objectives and supporting its activities.
Expenditure has been carefully monitored to ensure value for money and accountability. Any surplus remaining at the end of the financial year has been retained within the Trust’s bank account to meet future operational needs, support planned outreach initiatives, and maintain the financial stability of the organisation.
Total Receipts: £44,949 & Total Payments: £21,392
The Trustees are satisfied that the charity remains financially sound and sustainable.

Structure, Governance and Management
Governing Document / Bylaw
The charity is controlled by its Governing Document, a Deed of Trust and operates in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 and other relevant charity law in England and Wales.
Risk Management
The Trustees have a duty to identify and review the risks to which the charity is exposed and to ensure that appropriate systems and internal controls are in place to provide reasonable assurance against fraud, error, or loss.
Responsibilities of the Trustees
The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 2011 and the Charity (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 .
The Trustees are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
Statement of Preparation
This report has been prepared in accordance with the charity’s receipts and payments accounting principles , as applicable to smaller charities preparing accounts on a receipts and payments basis.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER’S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE NOTTINGHAM
CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of The Nottingham Christian Fellowship ("the charity") for the year ended 31 December 2024, which comprise the receipts and payments on form CC16A and associated Statement of Financial Activities, the Summary Income , the Balance Sheet and the related notes.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity’s trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Charities Act and, in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner’s statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in any material respect:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act 2011; or
-
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
