Section D Achievements and performance

## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

As the restrictions of COVID 19 were lifted FRHS was able to resume with some of its main fundraising events, namely the Spring Fling Auction evening and the Summer Fair.

Funds raised this year and those already held in the bank account were used to purchase a new Multi Use Games Area MUGA at a cost of £25,000. Despite this being a large outlay of funds there remains a healthy balance in the bank account to ensure that our ongoing commitments towards Pupil Premium funding of school trips, and contribution to Music, PE, books and IT across the school can be continued.

The balance of unused funds raised this year have been kept as a reserve for the years ahead.

There is a natural turnover of trustees as parents leave the school or have dedicated significant time and effort. The trustees focus is to promote the PTA to new parents and the wider school community and to help people feel involved. The coming year we expect to increase the committee size to ensure good handover and sharing of roles and responsibilities.
