CCS meets in the church building at 43 Barnard Street, Salisbury, on weekends for worship, and midweek for other church and community activities. Our Sunday worship services are typically followed by refreshments and Sunday School, during which time adults and children gather into age-specific groups for study, discussion and building relationships. The children's Sunday School is led by Mrs. Rachel Finch, with other teachers providing assistance with children as needed.

Our Minister, Revd. Mark Payne, who was appointed on 1st July 2019 continues in that role. We also appointed an Assistant Minister, Mr. David Thornhill-Smith, on Sep 1st 2021, and he and his family have since relocated to Salisbury.

## Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

We have resumed our monthly church lunch on the first Sunday of each month since the pandemic ended, for all who attend on the day, and for local friends and neighbours. Our regular "Food & Chat" sessions have also resumed, providing a hot meal and a time for building relationships, specifically for those resident at the Alabare hostel across the road from the church building. We also continue to care for those in our church community by providing hospitality, transport to hospital appointments and care during "shut-ins".

Our "Holiday Tots and Toys" group continues to be well received within the community. This runs successfully in the holiday breaks bringing in Mothers, Fathers, childminders and Grandparents from the Salisbury area for a fun morning for their children, followed by refreshments. We currently have approximately a dozen families who attend regularly.

The involvement of one of our church members in the "Street Pastor" ministry in Salisbury and the surrounding areas, has also resumed. This work helps to combat problems associated with alcohol, sexual assault and drugs.

Our open community discussion events entitled "Conversations About Life", in which we invite expert guest speakers to address topics such as science, health, archaeology and other disciplines, resumed earlier this year, being run as part of a national "Passion for Life" series. Our hope is that this will foster good discussions in Salisbury about important issues which affect us all.
