In June it was felt that the constuon of Cwtsh was out of date and should be updated in several respects. It was noted that this would need to be carried out and approved at the next AGM, probably in November.

In August Cwtsh supported a Windrush Fes*val in Bellevue Park, Newport with speakers, music, a plasma screen and refreshments.

In September Jusn Brown who had had a very successful exhibion at Cwtsh started an art class which appeared popular.

Regular contribu*ons of artwork produced by local schoolchildren were exhibited in the window gallery at Cwtsh.

November saw the annual Newport "Art on the Hill" exhibion for which Cwtsh acted as a hub locaon where parcipants could have their a<endance cards marked. There was also an essay compeon for children the prize for which was a book donated by a well known children's author, creave wri*ng and poetry readings.

involve considerably more expenditure it was clear that Cwtsh would have to be more careful with its electricity usage.
