**Objects:** 1. To advance the education of the general public in Newport, south Wales and the surrounding area through our programme of classes, talks, exhibitions and events, including work with local schools.2. To further or benefit the residents of Newport, south Wales and the neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other options by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the quality of life for residents.

**Activities:** The Charity manages "Cwtsh", a small building in the Handpost area of Newport, for community benefit. See www.cwtsh.org.
