Activities
We operate as a supportive family to enable those who are excluded, particularly through homelessness, to start new lives. Our vision is to make homelessness history. With our partners, we creates places to belong, develop skills and find meaningful employment. Our approach of fostering and promoting "the heart of family" brings acceptance, belonging, dignity and self-worth.
Objects: The charity’s objects are to promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society, in order to ensure that no-one is left behind. For the purpose of this clause ‘socially excluded’ means being excluded from society, or part of society, as a result of being a member of a socially and economically deprived community or group, particularly including but not limited to, people transitioning through homelessness and struggling with long term unemployment. These objects will be achieved primarily through the provision of:• Accommodation, in order to provide individuals with a place they can call home, within which they find a sense of acceptance and belonging.• Support and life skills training, to enable them to be better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society• Work experience and vocational training, to develop skills, promote dignity and a sense of self-worth, gain meaningful employment, and increase the prospects of sustaining economic stability and personal development.• Relational networks within restored communities, that empower the individual to sustain social inclusion and contribute to the inclusion of others.
