The charitsble companvs objectives are the furtherance of such exclusively charitable purposes as
the Irustees shall determlne and. In particular. Tore's Foundation empowers young people to develop
their critical thinking and discover their voice through debate in order to Iransform their Gommunities
and engage politically; to change and expand their outlook with regard to the possibilities of
democratic politics. and to encourage their interest and participation.

Charitable activities and publlc benefrt
Tore's Foundation is a youth empowerment grassroots charity which runs an innovative 3-year
after-school debating programme that teaches students aged 15 to 17 essential life skills to support
them into further education l employment. The charity currently operates in the Western Cape. SoLrth
Africa. Current affairs, politics and matters affecting democracy form the content of the debates, which
require research and critical analysis and expand students, horizons and general knowledge.
The programme indudes nutritious meals and safe transport home for all students, monthly
inter-school debating competitions and bi-annual multi-school debates. Visits to partner universities.
museums and historic sites are regularly arranged.
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Operations
The charity estsblished Tore's Africa Foundation, a South African NGO. to run its programme in South
Africa, under the guidance of th8 charity's trustees. The charitys sole activity is the fundlng of Tore's Africa
Foundation, which is registered as a Public Benefit Organization and files its own accounts with the South
African Revenue Servic8.
Maln achlevements
The charity. through its fvnding of Tore's Africa Foundation, has been operating in Cape Town, South Africa
since 2017, where after-school debating dubs are fiourishing, local communty relationships have been
established and promising students are being mentored fortertiary education. A ck)s8 association has been
8Stablish8d with the Stellenbosch Business School, which has adopted Tore's Africa Foundation as its
chosen social impact charity, an association that has been hugely beneficial and rewarding both financially
and reputationally.

The accounts have been prepared on the going concern basis as financial support is being actNely

I report to the trustees on my exarnination of the accounts of Tore's Foundalion for the
year ended 31 December 2024.

As the charity trustees of the Trust you are respons￿)1& for the preparation of the accx)unts
in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (Ihe ACV).
I report in ￿spect of my examination of the Trusvs accounts carried out under section
145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable
Directions given by the Charity Commission under sertion 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examinerfs statement
I have completed My examination. I confirm that no materlal matters have corne to my
attention in connection with the examination, giving me cause to believe that in any
material respect:
accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130
of the Act: or
2, the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no COn￿mS and have come auoss no other matters in connection with the
examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper
understanding of the accounts to be reached.
