TO RELIEVE THE STRESSES EXPERIENCED BY CARERS, OVER THE AGE OF 18 BY: PROVIDING A CONTACT POINT FOR HELP FOR CARERS OVER THE AGE OF 18; IDENTIFYING CARERS WHO STRUGGLE TO COPE IN THEIR CARING ROLE; WORKING WITH OTHER AGENCIES AND CHARITIES TO DEVELOP SERVICES FOR CARERS; OFFERING CARERS A BREAK THROUGH SUPPORT GROUPS; GATHERING AND DISSEMINATING INFORMATION RELEVANT TO CARERS ISSUES;

Objects: To Relieve The Stresses Experienced By Carers Over The Age Of 18 Who Have Care Needs, As A Result Of Disability, Illness Or Age Within The Isle Of Wight (The Carer May Reside In Or Work In Or Care For A Person Who Resides Within The Isle Of Wight), In Particular But Not Exclusively By:- Providing A Contact Point For Help For Carers Over The Age Of 18;- Identifying Carers Who Struggle To Cope In Their Caring Role;- Working With Other Agencies And Charities To Develop Services For Carers;- Offering Carers A Break Through Support Groups;- Gathering And Disseminating Information Relevant To Carers Issues;- Raising Awareness Of And Promoting The Needs Of Carers Throughout Isle Of Wight With Local Policy Makers And Service Providers;- Raising Funds To Achieve The Above.
