WMCC ended the year with a net surplus of
£799, increasing its bank balance to £9,248.
Healing Voices (HV) had a net surplus of
£14, increasing its balance to £732.
WMCC made charitable donations of £917
from its concerts in 2022.
Comparison with previous year
Whilst WMCC and HV both ended the year
with a small surplus, this was after a major
increase in activity when compared with
2021. For WMCC the main differences were:

three ticketed concerts in 2022 (none
in 2021)

the tour to Bath and Somerset

an increase in subscriptions of 44%,
and gift aid was up significantly too

hall hire was a cost to the choir in
2022 whereas in 2021 this was
covered by a covid grant

10th anniversary activities in 2022 -
bags, CD recording and party

stipends increased reflecting the
increased level of activity.
For HV, the comparative figures were:

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/12/2022.

Responsibilities and basis As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the of report accounts in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent examiner's I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have statement come to my attention (other than that disclosed below *) in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect,:
