Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Ofpolitical, Religious Or Other Opinions, To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Newmoston And Neighbourhood ("area Of Benefit") And In Particular The Promotion Ofcommunity Development In The Area Of Benefit By:3.1.1associating Together The Residents Of The Area Of Benefit And The Localauthorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort Toadvance Education Or The Arts, To Further Health, Provide Housing Oremployment, Relieve Poverty, Homelessness, Distress Or Sickness Orpreserve Historic Buildings And In Doing So Provide Or Assist In Theprovision Of Community Facilities Or Services In The Interests Of Socialwelfare, With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For Theresidents Of The Area Of Benefit;(i) In Furtherance Of This Object But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shallhave Power To Maintain And Manage Community Facilities And Tomaintain Or Manage Or Co-Operate With Any Statutory Authority Inthe Maintenance And Management Of Such Facilities For Activitiespromoted By The Charity In Furtherance Of The Above Objects; And3.1.2 Promoting Such Other Charitable Purposes For The Benefit Of The Residentsof The Area Of Benefit As May From Time To Time Be Determined.
