out Constitution adopted on 21 March 2014.
We are led by our Board ol Trustees. New Iruslees ale atwinled by the Board ol Trustees.
In undertaking their work, Ihe Iruslees wll identify any polenlial risks lo the public and beneficiaries,
seek lo rninimise any risks that are idenlilies and ensure Ihal Ihese are no more than a minor
consequence ol carrying out the wrpose ol Ihe charity.

The charity's obl￿11Ve and acliwly is lo prowde grants lo indiwduals and organisations lor the bgnelil ol
the publr and other charities or voluntary bodies.
The trustees have devised a grant making policy arKI use this FK*liey to make decisitsns about whom lo
benelrt from the charity. The policy will be reviewed on a regular basis. The public benefit requirement
11 be considered vthen setting the wlicy and when using the policy to make grants.
The Iruslees confirm they have referred lo the guidance contained in the Charity Commission's general
guidance on public ￿nefit when reviewing The Chalcol Foundation's aims and objectives.

Achlevements and performance
The Foundation is pleased to have been able to make Iwo donations to two different charfties during
the year. As a result those ¢harilies have been able lo further their respective causes and help reach
the individuals Ihal Ihey largel. The Foundalion looks lo continue lo make similar donations in Ihe
lulure.

Financial liabilities and equity instruments are classilied according lo the substance ol the
conlra¢lual arrangements entered into.
Debtors and creditors with no stated interest rate and receivable or payable wf(hin one year are
recorded at transaction price. Any losses arisirvj Irorn impajrment are recognised in the profit and
loss account in other administrative expenses.
Loans and borrowings are initially recognised al Ihe Iransaction price including Iransaclion costs.
Subsequently, they are measured al amortised cost using the emective interest rale method, less
