unaudited financial statements ofthe charity for the period to 31st January 2025.

STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCEAND MANAGEMENT
Forever Stars is a charity constituted by the Memorandum and Artides of Association. The charity's
registered number is 1156990 and the company number 08869249.
The trustees are appointed in line with the Memorandum and Articles of Association. On appointment
all trustees were issued with full detsils and procedures associated V￿th Forever Stars as well as an
overview of the charitable purpose of Forever Stars.
CHARITABLE OBJECTIVE
To promote and protect the health of parents affected by the stillbirth or other perinatal or neonatsl
death of their child or children and to relieve suffering and emotional distress amongst such parents in
particular, but not exclusively, by (li) providing or assisting in the provision of facilities and services
designed to meet their needs at the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham not otherwse made available
by the National Health Se￿iCe,. and (il supporting newly bereaved parents by providing emotional
support, practical advice and infomiation. When planning our activities for the year ahead we carefully
consider the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
In the trustee's opinion, the charity though unrestricted donations and fundraising events has made
significant progress in raising the funds to achieve meeting its objectives throughout the period.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
The charity's main source ofincome is generated through fundraising events held throughout the period.
The trustees extend their thanks to all those who have contributed to these fundraising events and
made donations.
The charity committed the sum of £109.185 to the development of a baby loss remembrance garden in
Nottingham, the 'Serenity Garden, is located in the Highfields Park in Nottingham with the support of
the Nottingham Crty Council. The committed funds will also support the charities work with supporting
families that use the Serenity Suites at Nottingham Universities Hospital Trust (Queens Medical Centre)
and to help raise awareness and support forthese baby loss families.

PLANS FOR FUTURE PERIODS
The charity will strive to continue to achieve its objectives in the future. raising funds through donations,
corporate support and fundraising events to ensure the charity's objectives are met.

Vvhinfrey Briggs Limited, Chartered Certified Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers have been
appointed as independent examiner for the ensuing year.

I report on the accounts of the charty for the year ended 31st January 2025, which are set out on pages 5 to 8.
Respective responsibilities of the Trustees and Examiner
The Charitls Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The Charitys trustees consider that an autjil
is not ￿qUired for this year {under Section 14412) of the Charities A¢X 2011 Ilhe A¢t} and that an Independent
Examination is needed.

Basis of Independent Examinetrs Report
My examination was carried out in accordan￿ with the General Dire¢tions given by the Charity Commission. An
Examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts
presented with those records. It also Includes consideration of any unusual rtems OT disclosures in the accounts, and
seeking explanation from you as Trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all
the evidence that would be required in an audit. and consequenlty no opinion is given as lo whether the accounts
present a Irue and fair view and the report is limited to those matters sel out in the statement below.

Basis of accounting
The financial siatements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. They have been prepared in
accordance with A¢￿UntIng and Reporting by Charities.. Slatemienl of Re￿mmended Practice applicale lo
chari(ies preparing their accounts in accordance wth FRS 102 (Chanties SORP IFRS10211 and the Companies
Act 2006.
Income
All income is treated as unrestricted income, unless the donor has placed restrictions on the manner in which
donation or grant may be spend, in which case it is treated as restricled income.
Resources expended
Expenditure is recongnised on an accruals basis as a liabilrty is incurred.
