2014 as Arthur's Cafa.
The hall and café aro managed as a self-SUSt8ining communty facility with Ihe objective of servlng the wide-ranglng
neads of the local communty.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Rgserves policy
The charitablo company's regular income from hall and café rental needs tr) at 18ast coveT th8 noTmal annual
expenditure. Th8 trustees consider it prudent to maintain in reserve. from incomg sU￿lus6$. an amount equlvalent
to one yearfs operaling incom6 against any interruption to the continued oporalion. In addition. in order to meet any
extraordinary exp6nditur8 relating to the property. togelh&r with any repairs, r8novatlons of a cyGlical nature and any
Improvements, a further amount shosjld be kept in reserve. Any funds whlch are con8idered to exceed thls level of
reservgs can bo Dxpendod In accordarsce with the aims of the charity.

Investments. These are CCLA COIF Charities Investment Fund. accumulation units and Blackrock Charishare

It is the intention that the hall and café should be self-funding. with any 8urplu8 fvnd8 generated to be applied in
accordance wlth the charflable objects of the company.
Tradlng and Improv•ment8
H811 bookings thls year wer8 much improved from the previou$ y8ar. which w8S Still affected by the after effects of
COVID. There has been a simllar gradual improvement wllh the café trading. Therefor8 over811 in¢ome w8$ more in
line wlth pre Covid trading.
In the opinion of th8 trusla8s, the rémaining reserves, including easily 8cc6ssible investments, 8re sufficient for
the Trust lo contlnue as a golng concem for the for8se8able future and certalnly for well in excess of th6 naxt tW8lv8
months.

During the year a number of granlsldonations were approved. by the trustees, totalling £7,000. They Included th8
following.. The Wimbledon Museum, London Alr Ambulancg and the M8rton Muslc Foundatlon. The Trusteas
continue to actively seek possible recipients of grants within th8 Charity's objects

Governance and successlon
Th8 Trustegs are aware of the Charlty Commission's guidance al)out Trustees seNing more than oight consecutive
years. Although this r8lates to several Trustees, it is consid9red that thè Charity benefrts hugely from their services
and from their corporate memory. Nevertheless. further Trustees are being sought.
Dats Protectlon
Under the Data Protection Act 1998 and tho GDPR R8gulationg effectlve from 251h May 2018. we are required lo
6xplain how we deal with any personal data that wo collect In the process of operats'ng the Trust. A Privacy

The trustees (who are also the directors of Wimblèdon Park Community Tru$t for the purpo$es of company law} are
responsible for preparlng the Raport of the Trustees and the financial statements in a￿OrdanCe with applicable law
