In answering this section the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. Our organisation remains committed to promoting and enabling (through the provision of appropriate training facilities and experienced, registered coaches) members of the public to regularly train and participate in amateur boxing., improving both their physical health and general well-being. Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit) As an open membership organisation, the beneffts of our organisation are available for all who train with the club. Wafford Amateur Boxing Club is open to the public in general, with current members between the ages of 10-65 yrs, both male and female. Through training at the Wafford Amateur Boxing Club, participants consistently benefit from improved physical fitness and mental well- being (including stamina. strength, suppleness, Confiden￿ etc.). Also, with the coming together of people from all backgrounds, sexes and ages to train together in a connected interest, our organisation continues to aim to promote social cohesion. Our organisation owes an enormous amount to the effort and dedication of the training and coaching staff and helpers. All of these people operated in a voluntary, unpaid capacity and all are fully CRB checked. All of our coaches remain ABA trained and committed to following best practi￿ in the Olympic sport of Amateur boxing and ensuring that high quality protective equipment is used at all times. Section D Achievements and performance In the year of 2024 we have continue to develop our club with the help of our coaches and helpers and the continued support of Watford borough council Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year Our membership for the year has stayed the same to make it accessible to all. We welcomed new coaches into our club who have been trained and put through Level one and level two ABA training Two new programs have been added to the club, we now run a class for people with Parkinson disease and a class for people in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction This year we have also renovated the gym and upgraded a lot of the equipment We have laid new flooring insulated the ￿lling and upgraded the lighting, we have painted throughout the gym, upgrade the fire doors and more We achieved all that with minimum disrupts.on to the running of the club TAR March 2012
