- Unfortunately, because of intermittent
Covid restrictions, the activities of the
Trust were curtailed in the financial
year.
- We were able to hold one ‘Working
Picnic’, where volunteers went up onto
the hillside for maintenance work. In
addition, individual volunteers went up
on ad-hoc maintenance visits.
- The local events and festivals at
which the Trust normally has a
presence, were either cancelled or
severely restricted.
- The website continued to be
maintained and updated as necessary,
and the Twitter account was also
maintained.

Para 1.21 The current year’s accounts show a very
small overall surplus.
As well as donations via standing order,
the final tranche of Heritage Lottery grant
was received and spent against
‘approved purposes’. Outgoings were on
badge maintenance and HLF ‘approved
purposes’ with respect to our Lottery
grant. Other expenditure was on
insurance and the website maintenance.
Sufficient funds are held in the bank
account to cover expected expenditure.
