Financial review
The results for the year are set out in the Statement of Financial Activities.
Policy on reserves
The reserves policy covers running costs including wages, repairs and maintenance for a minimum of 6 months which is the time needed to be given for a closure of tenancy and organising a transfer.
General unrestricted reserves at the year end were £33,553 (2023:£57,540). The trustees consider the unrestricted reserves at the year end to be adequate.
Plans for future periods
Our charity has always been innovative and carefully considers developing solutions to emerging problems. We are confident that we can continue to deliver our aims and objectives. Due to national financial difficulties the local council is reducing the support given to the museum, which is pushing us to find alternative sources of income.
