**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY:1. TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN. AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ASPECTS BY MEANS THE OFFICERS SEE FIT, INCLUDING THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS.2. TO FURTHER SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSE OR PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION SHALL THINK FIT BUT IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE MAKING OF GRANTS AND DONATIONS.

**Activities:** Choir members meet weekly in order to rehearse for at least 3 concert performances a year.  Income is raised from their annual subscription and concert tickets sold to the general public. Concert programmes generally consist of sacred and a cappella music. These activities raise public and choir members' awareness and enjoyment of these genres and improve members' singing and sight-reading skills.
