**Objects:** FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING)OF LOCAL PEOPLE ENGAGED IN GUIDING OR SUPPORTING MOUNTAIN WALKING OR FOREST TREKKING IN TANZANIA AND OTHER APPROPRIATE COUNTRIES IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY AWARDING TO SUCH PERSONS SCHOLARSHIPS, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS TENABLE AT ANY UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE, PROVIDER OR INSTITUTION OF HIGHER OR FURTHER EDUCATION.

**Activities:** ROB is a charity dedicated to making a difference to the economic lives and welfare of porters, guides and support staff working on Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. By funding places on occupational education programmes and training that would otherwise be beyond their reach ROB helps them advance their careers in ways that transforms their lives and that of their families and communities.
