**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE EXCLUSIVELY THE CHARITABLE RELIEF OF IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES WHO ARE SUFFERING HARDSHIP, DISTRESS OR ARE IN NEED, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE, BUT WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, TO THOSE WHO ARE IMPRISONED OR DETAINED UNDER IMMIGRATION LEGISLATION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.

**Activities:** Volunteer visitors network: supporting volunteer visitors to immigration detainees wherever they are held. We are a membership network supporting 14 groups across the country who visit those detained. We provide information, support, resources and advocacy, and work to achieve positive change in the detention system.
