Society’s Activities.

The Society finally returned to the pavillion in September 2021 after the UK government's COVID-19 restrictions were lifted. Because of the way lectures were delivered by Zoom, a hybrid of live and Zoom lectures is now being provided. The Committee has decided to create a new class of membership (Remote Membership), for members who live more than 30 miles from the pavillion or have been given special dispensation, from 1 September 2022.

From 1 April 2022, the venue hire of the pavilion has increased from 1 April 2022 from £1,000 p.a. to £1,500 p.a.

Our meteor camera team continued to carry out diligent work in reviewing video capture files of detected meteors and providing excellent scientific data for Nemetode project.
