## _**Introduction**_ 

The purpose of this document is to provide Charity Commission report for the year ending April 2023.

## **Annual Trustees Report** 

Aim for the coming year would be to build on the current achievements of the masjid, madrasa and any outstanding tasks be completed. With food prices and fuel costs rising and people having to make the difficult decision of putting food on the table or paying the bills, the centre will continue to meet the spiritual needs in these pressing times. 

## _**Additional Aims for 2023**_ 

1. Renew DBS checks for all trustees and volunteers. 

2. Continue to ensure all madrasa policies are followed regarding safeguarding. 

3. Arrange a refresher of Child Protection & Safeguarding Training Courses for all staff. 

7.   Apply for gift aid. 

4. Start acquisition process of unadopted road adjacent to the building where there is a drainage problem. 

5. Recruit and assign duties to volunteers. 

6. Bin collections to arrange with Bradford Council 

7. Set up Internet connection and electronic payment processing for donations. 

8. Assign a volunteer to have external charity collectors vetted and authenticated. 

9. Building repair 

   - damp proofing 

   - mosque signage on the exterior part of the building 

   - Building to be made energy efficient, double glazing the second story and thermostat installed to restrict energy costs.
