There are no material uncertainties about the charitws ability to contlnue.
Income
All income is recogni5ed in the Statement of Financial Activities once the charity has entitlement to the

For donations to be recognised the charity will have been notified of the amounts and the settlement
date in writing. If there are conditions attached to the donation, and this requires a level of performance
before entitlement can be obtained then income is deferred until those conditions are fully met or the
fulfilment of those conditions is within the control of the charity and it is probable th3t they will be
fulfilled.
Income from other trading activities includes income frorn the sale of resources and contributior)s to
Swanwick residential weekend and is recognisèd when received.
Investment income is earned through holding assets for investment purposes. namely bank deposits and
the Womens Network Welfare Fund ITMCPI. It includes dividends and interest arising on these
investments. It is included when the income cav) be measured reliably.
Expenditure
Liabilities are recognised as expenditure as soon as there is a legal or constructive obligation cornmitting
the charity to that expenditure, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be required in
settlement and the amount of the obligation can be measured reliably. Expenditure is accou nted for on
an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate all costs related to the category.
Where costs cannot be directly attributed to particular heading5, they have been allocated to activities on
a basis consistent with the use of resources.
Irrecoverable VAT is charged as an expense against the cost for which the expenditure arose.
Grants offered subject to conditions which have not been met at the year end date are noted as a
commitment but not accrued as expenditure.
