We promote garden biodiversity and public education through public conferences, creation of publications and newsletters, work with the media, maintaining a website to provide access to evidence-based information and advice, coordinating and informing the work of the charities and other organisations within our contacts, and influencing decision makers through disseminating evidence.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:a) To Promote The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment Of Gardens And Their Biological Diversity.b) To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment And Biodiversity Of Gardens And The Consequent Human Health And Well-Being Benefits.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005 And Section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008
