**Objects:** FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN AFRICA, BY:- COMMISSIONING AND CONDUCTING RESEARCH INTO SUSTAINABLE POVERTY ALLEVIATION OPTIONS IN SUBJECTS INCLUDING AGRICULTURE, INTERNATIONAL TRADE, SUSTAINABLE INFRASTRUCTURE, AFRICAN ARTS AND CULTURE AND OTHER MATTERS THAT MAY CONTRIBUTE TO THE RELIEF OF POVERTY;- ADVANCING EDUCATION IN SUSTAINABLE POVERTY RELIEF THROUGH CONDUCTING TRAINING SEMINARS, CONFERENCES, DEBATES AND MEDIA WORK; AND- PUBLISHING AND COMMENTING ON POLICY DEVELOPMENTS IN THE FIELD OF POVERTY ALLEVIATION.IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT BUT NOT OTHERWISE, THE TRUSTEES SHALL HAVE POWERTO ENGAGE IN POLITICAL ACTIVITY PROVIDED THAT THE TRUSTEES ARE SATISFIED THAT THE PROPOSED ACTIVITIES WILL FURTHER THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY TO AN EXTENT JUSTIFIED BY THE RESOURCES COMMITTED AND THE ACTIVITY IS NOT THE DOMINANT MEANS BY WHICH THE CHARITY CARRIED OUT ITS OBJECTS.
