‘Our Year’
Chair’s Report
Another year, and a much more interactive one, we went on a lot of outings! We made the most of the restrictions being lifted. We started our year meeting weekly at Gresley Old Hall, however made the move to Midway Community Centre after a short interlude at Blackfordby Village Hall, and continued with our Wednesday’s at Winshill Neighbourhood Resource Centre. This year we have gained quite a few new members and it's been great to welcome back some members who we had not seen for a while.
Our outings have included a visit to Alton Towers, cinema, bowling, Wing-wah… of course we was all looking forward to the first ShoutOut holiday at Skegness Butlin’s technically not in this finacial year but it would be remiss of me not to mention how much it was enjoyed! We

travelled in our new ShoutOut minibus… we now have ShoutOut money boxes for our ‘penny for petrol’ funds. Members, trustees and volunteers are collecting lose change to fuel for trips.
Trustees
We have new trustees joining our board and we now have member ambassadors, keeping the board on their toes! We have also gained new volunteers along with our very committed longstanding volunteers, who support ShoutOut and its members in many ways.

Trustee’s and volunteers have been busy working in the background applying for funding, and collecting all our equipment that was ‘locked’ in at Woodville Youth Centre. Preparing crafts, we have also been working with members to gain new skills, including knitting, crochet, understanding money, and preparing food and some easy cooking.

Working with a great lady at SDCVS we managed to gain some funding, we also received a donation from Prism Medical Ltd.
