THE PROVISION OF A GIVING AND SOCIAL ACTION PROGRAMME. STUDENTS ACROSS A SECONDARY SCHOOL YEAR GROUP TAKE PART IN A PROGRAMME THAT SEES THEM UNDERSTAND SOCIAL ISSUES, RESEARCH AND CONNECT WITH LOCAL CHARITIES WHO THEY SUPPORT THROUGH SOCIAL ACTION. CLASSES COMPETE WITH EACH OTHER AT A SCHOOL FINAL TO SHOWCASE THEIR SOCIAL ACTION PROJECTS, WITH THE WINNING CLASS WINNING £1,000 FOR THEIR CHARITY

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are, For The Public Benefit:(i) To Advance Education, In Particular In Philanthropy;(ii) To Advance In Life And Help Young People By Providing Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Responsible Individuals; And(iii) To Further Such Other Charitable Purposes As Are Exclusively Charitable Under The Laws Of England And Wales As The Trustees From Time To Time Determine, In Particular By The Provision Of Grants,in Particular By Acting As A Resource For Young People By Making Available Grants, Advice And Assistance, And Facilitating Philanthropic Projects For Young People In The United Kingdom.
