The Trustees present their report and accounts for the year ended 31[st] March 2025.

The charity is governed by its Articles of Association adopted on 1[st] April 2014. Its objective is to provide for young persons in the Wrekin District and surrounding area, facilities to encourage and develop their participation in gymnastics and dance.

The trustees, together with representatives from coaching staff and gymnasts meet regularly to manage the charities affairs.

Our Elite Programme, led by Brett Ince has had a very exciting year. Alice Kinsella led the GB team to an impressive 4th place at the Paris Olympics achieving 12th place individually. Brett was the GB coach at the Olympic Games. Our Senior team took the silver medal at the British Team Championship and our Juniors the silver medal as well.Helena Finc won the British Junior Championship with Jamie Reyner Corbett 4th. Crystelle Lake achieved 5[th] place at the British Senior Championship.

We have 161 gymnasts competing at various levels and a total membership of 1,200 gymnasts. We also provide classes for autistic children and those who are home schooled. Pre-school classes run every day of the week, and the building is busy 9am-9pm each weekday and 9am-5pm at the weekends. We have 40 members of staff making sure everything runs smoothly.

The statement of financial activity has been prepared in accordance with the statutory provisions and code of practice which apply to registered charities. The accounting statements have been reviewed by an independent examiner and are attached to this report.

The Club has recorded a profit of £108,384 for the year ended 31[st] March 2025. All costs are regularly monitored by the management committee and prompt actions taken at an early stage to deal with any unexpected developments

Finally the Trustees would like to thank the many volunteers who have been involved in organising, managing and raising funds for the club over the year; our success is only possible because of their outstanding dedication and support.

Independent examinerfs report to the trustees of Park Wrekin College School of Gymnastics and Dance- Registered Charity No. 1156346. Companies House Registration No. 08703338 I report on the accounts of the Trust for the year ended 31" March 2025, which are set out on pages 01 to 05 attached. Respective re5pon5ibilities of trustees and examtner The charity's trustees are responsible forthe prepardtion of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(21 of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act," to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(51{b) of the 2011 Act; and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's report My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes constderation of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair view, and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below. Independent examiner's statement In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention: {1) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements: to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 Act; and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 2011 Act have not been met; or 12) to which. in my opinion. attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
