The Trustees present their report and accounts for the year ended 315t March 2024. The charity is governed by its Articles of Association adopted on 1st April 2014. Its objective is to provide for young persons in the Wrekin District and surrounding area, facilities to encourage and develop their participation in gymnastics and dan. The trustees, together with representatives from coaching staff and gymnasts meet regularly to manage the charities affairs. Our Elite Programme led by Brett Ince has been very impressive this year. The club achieved a 3rd place in the British Team Championship, without Ali Kinsella, who had helped GB at the World Championship taking 5th place individually. Helena Finc has become British Aspire All Around Champion for the 2nd year. We have more than 50 gymnasts competing at various levels, as well as very popular beginner, recreational and improver classes. All sections of the club have performed well. We achieved our target membership of over 1,000 with waiting lists for most classes. The Pre-school programme has built steadily, and we have expanded our coaching and administrative staff to ensure we continue to run efficiently. The statement of financial activity has been prepared in accordance with the statutory provisions and code of practice which apply to registered charities. The accounting statements have been reviewed by an independent examiner and are attached to this report. The Club has recorded a profit of £1,053 for the year ended 31st March 2024. AII costs are regularly monitored by the management committee and prompt actions tsken at an early stage to deal with any unexpected developments Finally the Trustees would like to thank the many volunteers who have been involved in organising, managing and raising funds for the club over the year. our success is only possible because of their outstanding dedication and support. Approved by the trustees and signed on their behalf by, Kay Woolrich (Trustee/Chair) Date: J%.
