Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
The charity is registered as a Charitable Incorp orated Organisation, numb er 115 6279 and is governed by a constitution adopted on 1 st April 2014. The principal objective of the Charity is to raise funds to deliver services to young people to help them to empower their lives. MOE Foundation works with yo ung people from across th e soci al spectrum, with a particular focus on young people from socially and educationally deprived backgrounds, providing them with training, development, coaching, mentorin g and leadership/entrepreneurial initiatives.

The MOE Foundation is a charitable organisa tion to pursue the followin g charitable objects in accordance with s3 Charities Act 2011 and the guidance provided by the Charity Commission: (a) the advancement of education ; (b) advice and counselling; (c) equality and diversity; (d) the prevention or re lief of poverty for the pub lic benefit; (e) the promotion of social inclusion; (f) racial harmony; (g) the relief of financial hardship; (h) the relief of unemployment; (i) sustainable development; and (j) young people
ACTIVITIES FOR ACHIEVING OBJECTIVES
Curren tly the main activity undertaken is the MOE Coach Training Course. A number of Coach Training Courses were run during the financial year providing young peo ple with coa ching skills and certified coaching qualification. Other voluntary donations have been r eceived throughout th e current year from corporate organisations and individuals and some sma ller events have also been held.
The trustees have complied with the duty in section 4 of the Charities Act 2006 to have due regar d to the Charity Commissi on’s guidance on public ben efit.
