SSCBB is led by the Boord of Trustees who ensure that the charfty
dellvern its alms. The Board of Trustees has overall responslblllty for
governing the ch8rlty's strategles, policles. management, finances and
monltortng Ils perfonnance.
Trustees meet as requlred. fomially approxlmal8ly every 2 months, to
dls¢u$$ matters of strategy, pollcy and procedure.

Daily management of the charity operations Is conducted through
functional teams of trained volunteers.. these are non-hlerarchical but hav8
uttimate accountabllily to the trustees.
All members linduding individuals havlng functional roles) are volunteers
8nd give thoir lime freely receiving no remuneration or other benefit from
their work with the charity.
Operational meetings. lo whlch all members are Invlted, are held normalty

and works alongside neighbouring blood bike groups to provide
transportation of urgently-needed blood. drugs, human tissue. donated

Staffordshire and Cheshire.

In goveming SSCBB. trustees have regard lo the guidance issued by the
Charity Commission on public benefit.
In 2022 approx. 6300 free of charye deliveries were made by volunteer
riders and controllers. using the tharitys fleet of 16 specially 8d8Pted
motorcycles. In doing so over 320,000 miles were covered. Compared to
2021. jobs increased 11%, wilh an asso￿ated mileage inuease of 9%.
