**Objects:** The charity’s object (‘the object’) is the advancement of education, and in particular the education of older people and those retired from full time work, by all means including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development in Beverley and surrounding district.

**Activities:** Beverley U3A are a group of 480 mainly retired older members who try to advance their education by meeting together once a month to listen to a speaker.  They also meet in smaller groups to improve their conditions of life in the interests of their social welfare.
