Senior Ministers Report Over the past twelve months, we have experienced what has truly felt like our first "nornial" year in over s¢ven y¢ar5. It has been a time of stability, reflection, and renewed momentum-a season for both settling down and settling in. This return to rhythm has brought with it a fresh sense of purpose and clarity, and we are delighted to Teport that New Horizon Church continues to gtow and thrive. One of the most encouraging aspects of this past year has been the growth of our church family. We have welcomed people from a wide variety of ages, nationalities, and backgrounds. This rich div¢rsity is som¢thing we deeply celebrate, as it ieflects the heart of the Kingdom of God-a community united not by similarity, but by shared faith and love. Our church buildtng remains a vibrant hub at the heart of our community. It continue5 to be used throughout the week by local groups. including perforniing arts organisations, NHS services. educational programmes, and various community inittativ¢s. We are grateful that our facilities ¢an serve not only the spiritual needs of our congregation but also the practical needs of our wider community. With this growth, particularly among our children and young people, has come the welcome challenge of needing more space. To meet this need, we've undertaken further reconfigurations of our building to create additional rooms and resources. This investment in our youth is one we make gladly, as we see the next generation rising in faith and purpose. Caring for people remains central to who we are. Through the dedicated work of our Parish Nurse and Pastoral Care Team, we continue to support individuals and families navigating life's challenges. A major milestone this year was the official launch of Hope Horizon Counselling Service in 2024. This ministry offers professional counselling and emotional support, and we'r¢ thrill¢d to see it already making a signifIcant and lasting impact. On a global scale, our church has respond¢d with compassion and generosity to international crises, giving to nations affected by war. conflict, and nathral disasters. We have also remained commttted to supporting Christian ministries and individuals- both locally and internationally-including chur¢h planting initiatives and orphan care projects. None of this would be possible without our incredible team of volunteers and those faithfully engaged in our community outreach and mission work. The willingness to serve. often behind the scenes, is what brings our vision to life. We are deeply thankful for every on¢ of our volunteers.
