The trustees ensure that churth servi￿$ are continually freely open to
anyone vtho wishes to attend. and actively encourage attendance. Social
responsibilty and care V￿11 continue to be promoted among regular
attendees, specifically expanding on the Christian principle of
loving one's neighbour in conduct and practice. This beneffts the social
status of the local communty and general public. There is nothing in thè
purposes which shoukl lead to hami, but safeguards are in place (e.g.
DBS Checks for volunteers w0￿"ng with children's groups).
Decisions over who benefits from the church are guided by the Christian
farth rtself. which indudes evangelism as a core element. It is therefore
self-defining to bring benefft to people beyond the immediate local
church. The Constitution has clear guidelines on confiicts of
interest and FErsonal benefrts (using proforma wording in the model from
the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches IFIEC)). The church
does operate a memLErship for which there is no char9e.' membership is
bound to agreement to the Basis of Faith in the Constttution.
As such, meM￿rS are bound also to the advan￿ment of the Christian
farth and to the fulfilment of the purposes of the church. to the benefrt of
the general public in the communty. Al ServI￿S and meetings are clearly
publicised outside the building. in literature, and online. The facilities are
locked when Unoccu￿ed. All seNices and acttvities are open to the
public_ From time to time, disruptive or threatening individuals may be
barred from enty for the protection of othets.
Summary ofthe main
activities undertaken for the
public benefit in relation to
these objects (include withln
this section the statutory
declaration that trustees have
had regard to the guidance
issued by the Charity
Commission on public
benefrt)

The weekly temi-time Parent & Toddler group is well-attended by the
general public and provides an important community servi￿. Our post-
lockdown attendan￿ is even stronger than before.
Similarly. the weekly Fr￿aY Conrtections coffee moming provides
communty for many people. There is a regular group of older visitors for
whom such contact is vital. There are also a number of young parents
and child minder5 who also meet regularly for wellbeing.
