The advancement of such other purpose as are charitable in
accordance with English law.
The charity's sole activity is to link individuals who want to with those who
have a need. The individuals who want to give are generally church
goers or those who have links with the church. The charity takes referrals
for those who have a need from other registered charities or ststutory
bodies.
Those who want to give do so in four ways. They give their time, money,
skills or items. The main activity of the charity centres on those giving
time and those giving items.
Those who give items have them collected from them by Besom
volunteers. The volunteers then drop off the items at the home of the
person who needs it.
To enable the above activities. the charity has a van, and a Wa￿house
space, which is a kindly loaned by a local charity.
The trustees have regard to the guidance on public benefit issued by the
Charity Commission when exercising any powers to which the guidance
would be relevant. The charity does this by limiting its activities to those
detailed above. which have been established as being for the public
benefit through the registration of the charity and the registrations of
others Besoms around the country, and by only taking referrals from
statutory bodies and other registered charities.
The charity only takes referrals from ststutory bodies and other registered
charities so that the trustees are satisfied that ongoing support is
available to those who have a need and that the activity undertaken is of
public benefit. The charity's services are open to all those who want to
give regardless of religious belief and to anyone who has a need that is
referred by a registered charity or statutory body.

activities undertaken for the
publlc benefit in relation to
these objects {include within
this section the statutory
declaration that trustees have
had regard to the guidance
