The trustees present their annual report and unaudited accounts for the Year Ended 29th February 2024
and confirni they comply with the Charities Act 1993. as amended by the Charities Act 2006, the trust
deed and the Charities SORP 2005.

l) Th¢ i'elief of financial need and suffering among victims of natural or other kinds of disaster in the
forni of money (or other means deemed suitable) for persons, bodies, organisations and/or countries
affected [including the provision of medical aid, food aid, shelter etc.].
2) The relief and assistance of people in any part of the world who are victims of war or natural
disaster, trouble, or catastrophe in particular by the supply of m¢dical & food aid to such persons.

The objects of the charity were carried out and achieved by the following;

Projects dated March 2023: After the worst ever earthquake in Southern Turkiye / Northern Syria in
Feb 2023, World Aid Convoy took an Ambulanc¢ Aid Convoy with vital supplies of Aid, th¢
Ambulances w¢r¢ delivered to the Turkiye / Syria border and Aid was distributed to the most needy
homeless people. Projects Value: £21,747

Projects dated 1610312023: Distributed 6812 meals costing $10,218 to families affected by the
earthquake and distributed $50 each to 55 families of the neediest orphans. Contributed $9,282 in
supporting the new construction of the New Binnish Surgical Hospitsl, which will provide facilities to
receive many patients. Project value: £20,000 in dollars S23,811.71 Geographical scope: Idlib,
Northern Syria
Projects dated 2410312023: Distributed 4680 meals costing $7,020 to families affected by the
earthquake and distributed $50 each to 80 families of the neediest orphans. Project value: £1 0,000 in
dollars $11,959.61 Geographical scope.. Idlib, Northern Syria.

Projects dated 1210412023: Distributed 2000 Iftar Meals to fasting needy people, distributed 25
winter blankets and 25 foam mattresses, distributed 50 Food Baskets to needy families living in the
camp. Tents were set up and furnished with shelter, sleeping and heating supplies. Diesel for the Oven
was suppli¢d to Avad bakery to support bread production in the camp. The project benefited 50
bereaved families, including 147 children and 37 disabled / chronically ill people. Project value:
£5,200 in dollars $6,317.74 Geographical scope: Camp in Afrin City.
Projects dated 1310412023: Distributed 4030 meals costing $6,795 to families affected by the
earthquake and distributed S50 each to 58 families of the neediest orphans. Project value: £8,750 in
dollars Sl 0,605.25 Geograpliical scopc- Idlib and surrounding areas.
Projects dated 1910412023: Distributed 2240 ineals costing $6,795 to families affected by the
¢arthquake and distributed $50 each to 40 families of the neediest orphans. Distributed new clothes to
20 needy families. Project value: £6,750 in dollars S8,171.30 Geographical scope: Idlib and
surrounding areas.
Projects dated 2310412023: Distributed 350 meals costing $700 to families affected by the
earthquake and distributed $15 each to 30 injured people from the earthquake. Project value: £1 000 in
dollars $1,212.43 Geographical scope: Idlib and surrounding areas.
Projects dated 0410512023: Distributed 1600 m¢als costing $2,400 to familics aff¢¢t¢d by the
earthquake and distributed $50 each to 16 families of the neediest orphans. Contributed $2695 in
supporting the new construction of the New Binnish Surgical Hospital, which will provide facilities to
receive many ill and injured patients. Project value: £5,250 in dollars $6,427.51 Geographical scope:
Idlib, Northern Syria.
Projects dated 0810612023: Distributed 730 meals to families affected by the earthquake.
Project value: £1 000 in dollars $1,209.61 Geographical scope: Idlib and surrounding areas.
Projects dated 2910612023: on Eid Al-Adha and with the extreme poverty of the earthquake affected
peopl¢, 8 sacrificial sheep meat portions were distributed to poor needy families.
Project value: £2000 in dollars $2483.41 Geographical scope: Binnish city and the surrounding camps
Projects dated 3010612023: On Eid Al-Adha and with the extreme poverty of the earthquake affected
people, 4 sacrificial sheep meat shares were distributed to poor families. Project value.. £940 in dollars

Projects dated 1010912023: Distributed 1460 meals in the shelter centres for poor families affected by
the earthquake and to their scattered places of residence. Project value: £2000 in dollars $2,434.65
GeographTcal scope: Idlib and surrounding areas.
Projects dated 0210112024: Distributed 860 meals in the shelter centres for poor needy families
affected by the earthquake and to their scattered places of residencc. Total Cost: $1290
Contributed $350 in supporting the new construction of the New Binnish Surgical Hospital, which
will provide facilities to receive many patients. Project value: £1500 in dollars $1,862.29

Projects dated 0510112024: Distributed 4000 meals costing $6,000 to families affected by the
earthquake and distributed $50 each to 103 families of the most needy orphans, costtng $5150

Projects dated 3110112024: During the cold winter months, distributed 2 tons of firewood to 20 poor
needy displaced families, and distributed Aqeeqah Sheep meat to 75 poor needy families.
Project value: £800 in dollars $991.42 Geographical scope: Binnish City.
Projects dated 1310212024: Before the start of Rainadhan, distributed 250 Food Baskels to needy
families living in the camp to help them with their Iftar and Suhoor during the monih of Ramadhan.
Project value: £2500 in dollars $3,082.41 Geographical scope: Camp in Afrin City
Projects dated 2010212024: Distributed 476 meals to 238 poor needy and displaced families. Project
value: £630 in dollars $769.59 Geographical scope: Idlib and surrounding areas.

Project dated February 2024: Due to the war in Gaza, hundreds of thousands of innocent people
have lost their homes and have no income to feed their families, so to help feed them distributed 600
cooked meals to homeless needy starving families who lost everythin8. Project value: £2770 in dollars
$3,400 Geographical scope: Gaza Strip.

Project dated November 2023: After one of the worst earthquakes in the Atlas Mountains of
Morocco, thousands of families were left homeless. World Aid Convoy team visited a Camp in the
middle of the Atlas Mountains where there was huge destruction and dislributed cash grants to 30
most needy widows and orphans whose homes and belongings were destroyed in the earthquake.

Project dated 2510412023: On Eid ul Fitr, distributed Eid Clothes to 28 most needy children in
Djibouti- Cost of Project= £500
Project dated 3010612023: On the occasion of Eid ul Adha, Goats and Cow were sacrificed, and the
meat was distributed in the days of Eid ul Adha to the most needy familles in different locations in
Djibouti. The neediest beneficiaries received coupons to come and collect the Food Packs.
Cost of Project - £864
Project dated 2010212024: Distributed 50 x Ramadhan Food Packs to needy students of Sounah Al
Hay4 and 50 x Ramadhan Food Packs to needy families in Otoy village, in the region of Tadjourah,
in the North of Djibouti. A total of l 00 families received Ramadhan Food Packs. Cost of Project -
£3000.

Project dated 0110712023: In the most deprived poor areas of Bihar, Northern Indi￿ on the occasion
of Eid ul Adha 85 Food packs were distributed to the needy families. Cost of Project - £1700
Project dated 1210812023: In the most deprived poor areas of Bihar, Northern Indi& where village
people had to walk miles to get clean water, 5 water hand purnps each costing £200 each were built in
their villages to make it easy for them to access clean water. Cost of Project- £lOOO
Project dated 1511212023.. At a school in the most deprived poor areas of Bihar, Northern India, 333
Holy Qurans were distributed to the needy children. Quran costing £3 each, Cost of Project - £ l 000
Status
The charity trustees selected for membership are responsible for the general control and management
of the charity. World Aid Convoy is constituted as a charitable trust registered wilh the Charity
Commission in February 2014 under charity number 1155899.

It TS the policy of the charity to maintain unrestricted funds at a level sufficient to cover unforeseen
expenditure and shortfall in income. The trustees remain confident in their ability to raise the
necessary funds, thereby adhering to the maintenance of a balanced budget.

A summary of the results for the period is set out in the Income & Expenditure Account page of the
Financial Statements.

onsibilities
The charity trustees are responsible for preparing accounts for each financial year, which give a true
and fair view of the state of the charity's affairs and of its profit or loss for the period. In preparing
those accounts, the trustees are required to:
Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently;
Observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP;
Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent.
Prepare accounts on the going concern basis unless it is appropriate to presume that
the charity will not continue.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with re&8onable
accuracy, at the time, the financial position of the cornpany, and to enable them to ensure that the
accounts comply with the charity acts. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the
charity and hence, for taking steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees
consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the
201 l Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to:

My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity
Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
comparison of ihe accounts presented with those records. It also includes Consideration of any unusual

such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an
audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'truc and fair view,
and the report is limited to those matters set out in the next statement.
